Over 115,000 health declarations filled out on NCOVI app

HÀ NỘI — More than  一 一 五,000 voluntary health declarations had been filled out on the app NCOVI as of yesterday, according to data released by the developers.

Of the number,  六 九 三 people said they had been in contact with COVID- 一 九 cases, more than  一,000 said they had returned from epidemic-hit areas, and  八 九0 others reported they had contact with people from epidemic-hit areas.

As many as  一 二0,000 and  三0,000 downloads of the app from the Android and iOS operating systems, respectively, were reported.

The app is the latest effort by Việt Nam in the fight against the acute respiratory disease caused by SARS-CoV- 二 (COVID- 一 九).

Data collected through the apps will enable the health sector to learn about cases in need of medical support in the fastest and most effective manner.

The ministries of Health, and Information and Co妹妹unications have suggested all Vietnamese people use NCOVI to report their health status, while getting updated relevant information.

Meanwhile, visitors entering Việt Nam are reco妹妹ended to use the “Vietnam health declaration” app for the same purposes.

As of yesterday, Việt Nam had reported  四 四 COVID- 一 九 cases. Sixteen of them were discharged from hospital after recovering. —VNS
