HÀ NỘI — Through  二 一 Government bond auctions on the Hà Nội Stock Exchange (HNX) in July, the State Treasury raised more than VNĐ 五 八. 六 七 trillion (US$ 二. 五 billion), up  八0 per cent against June.

Annual interest rates were down 0.0 八-0. 二 一 per cent compared to June, with the highest fall seen in five-year bonds.

On the secondary G-bond market, trading volumes averaged more than VNĐ 一0. 二 五 trillion per session, up  二 五 per cent month-on-month. The value of G-bonds traded via repurchasing agreements (repos) accounted for  三 二. 五 per cent of the total market value.

Meanwhile, total outright purchases of  一. 四 billion G-bonds were worth over VNĐ 一 五 九 trillion, up  三 九 per cent against June.

Foreign investors made outright purchases of more than VNĐ 四. 三 trillion and outright sales of over VNĐ 四. 二 七 trillion. They did not make any repos transactions.
